George and Billy Wooster, founders of Affordable Urns and Wooster Creations, faced their fair share of hardships throughout life, particularly loss. Upon the death of their grandfather in 2012 and grandmother in 2013, they created personalized urns that they poured their blood, sweat and tears into and created something so meticulously detailed and beautiful to honor their grandparents, that they were met with many of the same comments, “this is your niche”. The Woosters are a close knit bunch; family always had and always will come first. Their grandparents built the foundation that truly defined “family” in its rawest and truest form. Affordable Urns derived from Insurmountable work ethic,  a voracious need to help others, meticulous attention to detail, and a knack for woodworking. George and Billy then realized first hand the financial hardship that came with saying goodbye to a loved one; they never wanted anyone else to struggle with the anxiety of not being able to give someone dear to them a proper farewell. So, since 2018, they have been providing hand-crafted wooden urns to the public at a reasonable, customizable price point. 

 

However, they would not limit themselves to wooden urns. Their background in carpentry fueled their passion and sparked their creativity, which ultimately breathed life into their newest business venture, Wooster Creations, established in 2021.

 

Both reside in New Milford, CT, formerly of Danbury, CT. On George and Billy's free time, their pastimes include spending time with their families, and passing down knowledge of the trade to their kids. Affordable Urns and Wooster Creations isn't just a job or a hobby for these two, but a lifetime investment into the futures of their respective children.
